A last second defeat
It was rare BSV Bern Muri so close to a win against the canton's rival Wacker Thun. A second before the end, Lukas von Deschwanden managed to circle the ball past the BSV wall and sink it in the goal. This was preceded by a lot of hectic and tension. In the starting phase, the BSV did everything and was rewarded with a 5-0 lead. The calmly playing Thuners could compensate and make the back and forth game with many penalties balanced until 10 minutes before the end. When the Stadtberner led with two goals five minutes before the end, a victory was within reach. But an unused personnel superiority, a missed penalty and an unnecessary forward foul brought the turn.
Over the weekend after the game there Alex Milosevic (Photo below) announced the resignation as coach of the BSV Bern Muri at the end of the season. To what extent the defeat against Wacker Thun influenced the decision is not known.
