Wet plate course
Today's cameras take more than a dozen pictures every second, the individual photo loses value. Wet plate technology offers a way back to the picture as a single piece and the intensive examination of the entire manufacturing process. A glass plate is coated with collodion by hand, made sensitive to light, placed in a cassette and exposed with a suitable camera. Development takes place in the transportable darkroom and the unique piece is then fixed.
Peter Michels brings you to this year's Photo Münsingen this 150 year old technology closer in a two-day workshop from 30.-31. May 2014 closer. The results of the two-day course are few unique, but you will never forget the way to it. Of the pre sales runs until May 3, 2014.
